The admissions process is designed to provide the best possible opportunity for an applicant to understand the Halifax Academy approach and to allow staff to identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses to develop an individualized academic program for each student.
Any student who wishes to attend Halifax Academy must first meet with the principal with his/her parent(s). After meeting with the principal, we gather comprehensive information regarding learning styles, experiences, and academic needs. When needed, we administer further tests to help us determine the best method of teaching for each student.
During this process, we will give you a school tour and help the student and his/her family determine what they want to gain from a Halifax Academy education.
